Nottingham - Queen of the Midlands
There are so many famous names connected to the classic buildings that form the skyline of Nottingham. The castle was built by William the Conqueror (we suspect he didn’t do it all himself, he probably hired a few guys to help!) and the Olde Inns are said to have hosted the likes of Richard the Lionheart. Whilst the legend of Robin Hood is debated, there is still to this day a modern day Sheriff of Nottingham roaming the beautiful buildings of Nottingham’s streets.
